Empowering the Future: Grey Sim Learnings Foundation Partners with Infosys Foundation to Train 22,000+ ITI Students
We are thrilled to announce our latest milestone in collaboration with Infosys Foundation. This transformative initiative aims to train over 22,000 ITI students across India in the next 16 months, driving skill development and employability in the engineering sector.
Key Highlights of the Program:
-
Comprehensive Training Modules:
The program offers a finishing course spanning 60 hours, combining vocational training, employability skills, industry sessions, and site visits. This holistic approach ensures students gain both technical expertise and practical insights. -
On-Site Training at ITI Centers:
Training sessions will be conducted within ITI premises, providing students with easy access to quality education and resources. -
Focus on Placement:
A core goal of this initiative is to place trained candidates as apprentices in various industries while providing placement assistance. This not only enhances their career prospects but also bridges the industry-academia gap. -
Promoting Gender Inclusivity:
With a key performance indicator (KPI) to train and place female candidates in engineering trades, the project emphasizes gender equality and aims to empower women in the technical workforce. - Benefits to Employers
Employers gain access to trained, industry-ready candidates, ensuring a skilled and competent workforce for their organizations.
